Tara C. Noto, RN, 42, of Pocono Lake and formerly of Scranton, died Thursday at home.

Born in Charleston, SC, daughter of Thomas C. Noto, of Annapolis, MD and Sharon Allegrucci Keating, of Scranton, she was a 1987 graduate of Bishop Hannan High School. She was also a graduate of the CMC School of Nursing, Scranton. Tara worked in area hospitals as a registered nurse and held membership in the American Nurses Association. Throughout her life, she also resided in Dalton and Tunkhannock.

She loved animals and was a talented artist and musician. She was blessed with the ability to possess perfect pitch in her musical skills.

Also surviving are brothers, Brendan T. Noto, and wife Amanda, of Dallas, David J. Noto, of Catonsville, MD; a sister, Kristen M. Noto, of Ellicott City, MD; her maternal grandmother, Agnes Allegrucci, of Old Forge; her stepfather, John M. Evans, Scranton; her fiancé, Nelson Carter, Pocono Lake; a niece, Briana Noto; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:30 AM from the Victor M. Ferri Funeral Home, 522 Fallon St., Old Forge with Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 in St. Mary of the Assumption Church at Prince of Peace Parish, West Grace and Lawrence Streets, Old Forge to be celebrated by the Rev. Louis T. Kaminski, pastor. Interment services will follow in Marcy Cemetery, Duryea.
